MLOD Studios is pleased to offer drum lessons with instructor Taron Church. Taron teaches age 6+. Lessons range from beginner to advanced teachings. Taron will instruct students how to read sheet music and to play by ear. Students will play on Taron's home studio PDP drum set. MLOD will not be taking part in a public recital. Students will present their skills in a private parent showcase at MLOD Studios.

MLOD Studios is pleased to offer beginner guitar lessons with instructor Arielle Church. Arielle teaches age 5+. These lessons are only for beginners. Arielle will instruct students how to read chord charts and to play by ear. Students will play on Arielle's guitar or their own if suitable for the session. MLOD will not be taking part in a public recital. Students will present their skills in a private parent showcase at MLOD Studios.

MLOD Studios is pleased to offer beginner piano lessons with instructor Taron Church. Taron teaches age 6+. These lessons are only for beginners. Taron will instruct students how to read chord charts, play scales, play rhythmic patter and play by ear. Students will play on Taron's piano or their own if suitable for the session. MLOD will not be taking part in a public recital. Students will present their skills in a private parent showcase at MLOD Studios.

MLOD Studios is pleased to offer beginner - advanced songwriting techniques with instructor Taron Church. Taron teaches age 8+. Taron will instruct students on how to structure a song, create melodies, create titles, and learn how to record demos. Students will write using a recorder of their choice and a writing tool of their choice during the session. MLOD will not be taking part in a public recital. Students will present their skills in a private parent showcase at MLOD Studios.

MLOD Studios is pleased to offer beginner - advanced music production techniques with instructor Taron Church. Taron teaches age 10+. Taron will instruct students on preproduction, recording, post production and marketing. Students will be advised on what DAW and recording equipment to purchase. Students will work in Logic Pro during sessions at MLOD Studios. MLOD will not be taking part in a public recital. Students will present their skills in a private parent showcase at MLOD Studios.

About Us

Hello MLOD family! Our names are Taron and Arielle Church, a married couple living in Montrose, Colorado. We decided to start MLOD (Melody) studios as a way to invest in other creatives - whether they be songwriters, musicians, producers and more. Not only do we help equip and come alongside you in your craft, but we also care for you as a whole person, before you ever pick up an instrument or get in the studio. Our desire as a studio is to reflect the love of Christ and bring Him glory in all we do and in each song we make. We want each person who works with us to leave feeling equipped and inspired to use their gifts to the fullest.We have been musicians for most our lives, performing live for 15+ years, releasing music for 5+ years (which you can find under Arielle Nichole on every streaming platform!), and teaching music for 10 years (Taron) and 3 years (Arielle). We have been blessed to be rewarded with Songwriter of the Year at Christiansongwriting.com and to have our songs play on radio stations across the world. We love seeing the excitement in each student as they grow in their abilities as musicians and producers.
